Realize your Full Leadership Potential

What is coaching?

Coaching is a thought-provoking and creative process designed to help you maximize your personal and professional potential. It’s future-focused, client-driven, and grounded in meaningful conversations that lead to action.

I like to describe coaching as having a thought-partner, someone to help you think things through - to get new perspective, awareness, and sometimes a plan to move forward.
— Robin Christian

Coaching is:

  • A reflective space for clarity and progress

  • A partnership, not a prescription

  • A catalyst for self-awareness, choice and change

Is Coaching Right for You?

Leadership can feel complex—full of competing demands, decisions, and doubts. Coaching offers a space to think clearly, lead more intentionally, and unlock the kind of growth that creates lasting impact.

At Core Capital Development, coaching is a partnership rooted in curiosity, trust, and belief in your potential.

Coaching is not:

  • Mentoring (giving advice)

  • Training (transferring specific skills)

  • Consulting (solving business problems)

  • Therapy (healing emotional wounds)

Who Benefits from Coaching?

Coaching tends to click for leaders standing at a specific edge — a new role, a harder conversation ahead, a sense that something in how they lead needs to shift but the "what" isn't clear yet. If any of that sounds familiar, you're probably ready.

What to Expect When We Work Together

When we partner in coaching, you can expect a space that is:

  • Confidential and grounded in trust – Everything stays between us

  • Curious without judgment – I ask questions to invite insight, not evaluation

  • Authentic and transparent – We show up fully and honestly

  • Empathetic and present – I listen for what matters most to you

  • Challenging with care – I stretch your thinking in service of your growth

This is not about fixing you. It’s about helping you lead with clarity, confidence, and intention.

It helped me think through situations that I felt unable to work though. I was having a hard time thinking through solutions so it was great to have a neutral party to listen, synthesize the information, and work with me toward a solution.

A program leader came to coaching after years of deliberately holding back — avoiding questions with his team because he didn't want to seem like he already knew the answer. A turning point came from understanding how his own mind worked and working with it instead of against it. That shift showed up fast: "Asking more questions from my team while also having the answer has vastly increased my team's problem-solving abilities." His team grew more comfortable delegating up, which freed him to step in exactly where it mattered.

Most clients choose a six- or twelve-month coaching partnership, meeting twice a month for 60-minute sessions. Every partnership includes the Energy Leadership™ Index (ELI) assessment and a personalized debrief to deepen your self-awareness and accelerate growth.

Full partnerships typically run $1,500–$6,000, with most six-month engagements landing around $3,000, the exact scope depends on session frequency, goals, and whether additional assessments are included. We'll talk through what's possible together and tailor a plan that fits.
